A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

2. Why do you make art?

Creativity is a primal impulse. I tap into and release that primal energy through art because it feels good.

Humility in men, the intuition of women, innocence of a child and the forces of nature.

4. What/who are your influences?

The long road of life; heartbreak, joy, friends, people loved, times of loneliness and war and addiction. Artists: Wassily Kandinsky, Beñat Olaberria, Morton Lassen and many others.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Marcus Aurelius, Emperor of Rome from 161 to 180. A stoic philosopher. He lived during the Plague of Galen.
